Implant Design & Creation
OsteoSymbionics implants are known for their precise fit. It’s the unique pairing of analog and digital techniques that allows us to respond to the most complex surgical needs and guarantee results that are both functional and cosmetic.
Where Technology Meets Touch
Open Dialogue
After receiving the completed Order Form and the patient’s CT Scan, we contact the surgeon to discuss the surgical plan and other preferences. Conversations continue throughout production. Direct follow-up occurs if the surgical plan is unclear due to bone fragments, pre-existing mesh, swelling or other issues.
Design Implant
An implant template is either developed digitally or hand-sculpted. The ability to choose between processes is useful for patients with asymmetric skulls or defects without an opposite side to mirror, such as bilateral craniotomies and frontal defects.
Ensure Final Fit
Final fit is checked on every implant, with adjustments made to assure easy implantation.
